The Oakland Raiders have signed former Jacksonville Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings.

The Oakland Raiders have signed unrestricted free agent running back Rashad Jennings, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Thursday.

Jennings, entering his fifth NFL season, played in 38 games with nine starts over the past four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A 6-foot-1, 231-pound running back out of Liberty, Jennings has totaled 224 career rushing attempts for 944 yards (4.2 avg.) with seven touchdowns, and 61 receptions for 454 yards since entering the NFL as the Jaguars' seventh-round draft selection (250th overall) in 2009.

In 2012, Jennings rebounded from spending the 2011 season on injured reserve (knee) to play in 10 games with six starts, rushing for 283 yards on 101 carries with two touchdowns.

Jennings in 2010 rushed for a career-high 459 yards on 84 carries with four touchdowns. He also hauled in 26 passes for 223 yards during his second NFL season.
