–The Oakland Raiders have signed veteran wide receiver Roscoe Parrish, the team announced Tuesday. A dangerous return specialist, Parrish was released by the San Diego Chargers on Monday.

The 5-foot-10, 168-pound Parrish spent seven seasons (2005-11) with the Buffalo Bills, playing in 77 career games and recording 134 receptions for 1,502 yards and seven touchdowns. Parrish also returned 135 punts for 1,622 yards (12.0 avg.) with three touchdowns, and returned 29 kickoffs for 685 yards (23.6 avg.).

The Miami, Fla., native entered the NFL as the Bills' second-round selection (55th overall) in the 2005 draft out of the University of Miami.

To make room on the team's active roster, the Raiders Tuesday waived/injured OL Zach Hurd.
