After six months without Raiders' football, the offseason is nearly over, Head Coach Jack Del Rio and Co. are now just over two weeks away from reporting to Training Camp 2016. From the Combine through the Draft and free agency to the offseason workout program and minicamps, the Raiders have spent the better part of six months assembling the 2016 squad, and will now test their mettle, battle it out for roster spots and starting roles under the glare of the Northern California sun.
The Silver and Black have announced some key dates for Training Camp 2016, which will once again be held at their Napa Valley Training Complex and the dates are as follows:
Players Report:July 28
First Practice:July 29
Preseason Game 1 vs Arizona Cardinals:August 12
Break Camp:August 16
Preseason Game 2 vs Green Bay Packers:August 18
Preseason Week 3 vs Tennessee Titans:August 27
Roster Reduction to 75:August 30
Preseason Week 4 vs Seattle Seahawks:September 1
Roster Reduction to 53:September 3
Regular Season Week 1 vs New Orleans Saints:September 11
Head Coach Jack Del Rio as well as all three coordinators will be made available to the media during the week, as will quarterback Derek Carr.
