Con apenas su segunda derrota por múltiples posesiones en la campaña, los Malosos se vieron abajo desde la serie con la que arrancó el partido Kansas City, quienes consiguieron anotaciones en tres de sus primeras cuatro posesiones y cerraron la primera mitad con un gol de campo tras forzar un balón suelto, yéndose al descanso de medio tiempo arriba 24-3.
En la segunda mitad, el ritmo de este enfrentamiento disminuyó, con los Raiders anotando su primer y único touchdown del encuentro en el último cuarto por medio de un pase anotador de 11 yardas de Jarrett Stidham a Hunter Renfrow, para no irse con las manos vacías a la ofensiva.
Ante los Jefes, Davante Adams consiguió 5 recepciones para 73 yardas, terminando su temporada con 100 recepciones para 1516 yardas. Es la cuarta vez en su carrera que llega al menos al centenar de recepciones, convirtiéndose en apenas el decimosegundo jugador en la historia en hacerlo. Josh Jacobs fue limitado a 17 acarreos para 45 yardas, culminando la segunda temporada más productiva para un corredor de los Raiders con 340 acarreos para 1653 yardas y 12 anotaciones, todas marcas personales.
Las Vegas es ahora el cuarto equipo en la historia de la NFL en tener a un jugador con 1500 yardas por tierra y a otro con 1500 yardas por medio de recepciones en la misma temporada.
El ala defensiva Maxx Crosby consiguió una captura de mariscal de campo y dos tacleadas para pérdida de yardaje, incrementando su total en la temporada a 12.5 y 22, respectivamente. Tanto Adams, Jacobs y Crosby fueron elegidos al Tazón de los Profesionales, que se disputará en Las Vegas el 5 de Febrero en la modalidad de tochito bandera.
Jarrett Stidham durante su segundo juego como titular en la NFL fue limitado a 219 yardas y una anotación en 22 pases completos, pero perdió el ovoide en dos ocasiones (una intercepción y un balón suelto). Complicándole la tarde para "Stiddy" fue el factor de la presión de Kansas City, con su defensa entrando al juego con 49 capturas de mariscal de campo y acabaron derribando a Stidham con el balón en 6 ocasiones.
La temporada 2022 de los Raiders llegó a su final con una derrota, culminando la campaña inaugural de Josh McDaniels como entrenador en jefe del equipo con marca de 6 victorias y 11 derrotas. El staff de coacheo y la directiva del equipo ahora se enfocará en mejorar el plantel para no solo ser competitivos en el 2023, sino convertirse en contendientes.
