Report: Raiders to sign QB Kirk Cousins
The Raiders are reportedly signing veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, per ESPN's Adam Schefter via Cousins' agent. Originally a fourth-round pick by Washington in the 2012 Draft, Cousins spent six seasons with Washington before six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and most recently, two with the Atlanta Falcons.
Over the course of his career, he has been selected to four Pro Bowls and holds an overall record of 88-77-2 as a starting quarterback. Cousins completed 61.7% of his passes for 1,721 yards with 10 touchdowns and five interceptions through 10 games (eight starts) in 2025.

Report: Raiders sign WR/KR Dareke Young
Wide receiver Dareke Young reportedly signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, per The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov via Young's representation.
Young played his last four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, winning a Super Bowl with Klint Kubiak in 2025. He averaged 32.2 yards per kick return in Seattle last season.
Report: Raiders sign FB Connor Heyward
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly agreed to terms with former Pittsburgh Steelers fullback Connor Heyward. The 2022 sixth-round pick appeared in 68 games for the Steelers with 449 total scrimmage yards and five total touchdowns in his career. Additionally, he has 28 total tackles as a special teamer.
Wednesday, March 11
Report: Jets to sign G Dylan Parham
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, guard Dylan Parham is expected to sign with the New York Jets. Parham was drafted by the Raiders in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft and appeared in 64 games (63 starts) in his four seasons with the Silver and Black.
Report: Lonnie Johnson Jr. to join Dolphins
Raiders safety Lonnie Johnson Jr. is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins, per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.
Johnson joined the Raiders last offseason, but missed time early in the season due to a broken fibula during training camp. He returned to the field in Week 10 and across nine games totaled 25 tackles and two passes defensed.
Tuesday, March 10
Report: Raiders to trade QB Geno Smith to the Jets
The Raiders are reportedly trading quarterback Geno Smith and a 2026 seventh-round pick to the New York Jets in exchange for a sixth-round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Smith was acquired by the Raiders in 2025 via trade with the Seattle Seahawks. In his one season in Las Vegas, Smith started 15 games and completed 67.4 percent of his throws for 3,025 yards and 19 touchdowns. Additionally, he led the league in interceptions (17) and was the most-sacked quarterback (55) in the NFL.
Smith was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2013 Draft and spent four seasons with the team.
Report: Raiders tender DT Thomas Booker IV and G/C Jordan Meredith
Per ESPN's Ryan McFadden, the Raiders have tendered restricted free agents Thomas Booker IV and G/C Jordan Meredith.
A restricted free agent is a player with three accrued seasons and an expired contract. RFAs are free to negotiate and sign with any team, but their original team can offer them a qualifying offer that can come with the right of first refusal and/or draft-pick compensation.

Report: Raiders signing K Matt Gay
The Raiders are reportedly adding a kicker to the roster, signing Matt Gay, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. A former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2019, Gay has spent time with the Bucs, Rams, Colts, Commanders and 49ers. Over seven seasons, he has connected on 182 of his 216 field goal attempts (84.3 percent) and 232 of his 240 extra point attempts (96.7 percent).
Update: Gay signed with the Raiders on March 11.
Report: Raiders quarterback to sign with Carolina Panthers
Per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Carolina Panthers are expected to sign quarterback Kenny Pickett. The Raiders acquired Pickett from the Cleveland Browns last August in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round draft pick. He appeared in six games (two starts) for the Raiders and went 28-of-45 for 188 yards and one touchdown.
Report: Raiders to re-sign DE Malcolm Koonce
The Silver and Black plan to re-sign defensive end Malcolm Koonce, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Koonce, a 2021 third-round draft pick by the Raiders, appeared in all 17 games last season for the team and totaled 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble and 13 QB hits.
Update: Koonce re-signed with the Raiders on March 11.
Report: Raiders to sign LB Quay Walker
Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker is signing with Raiders. The 2022 first-rounder led the Packers in total tackles in each of his four seasons with the team, with a career 469 combined tackles, 29 tackles for loss and 17 pass deflections.
Report: LB Nakobe Dean signing with Raiders
The Raiders are reportedly signing Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean, per ESPN's Adam Schefter citing agent Mike McCarthy. The Super Bowl champion totaled 226 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 7.5 quarterback sacks in his 47 career games played.
Report: DE Kwity Paye to sign with Raiders
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are reportedly signing DE Kwity Paye. The 2021 first-rounder recorded 123 solo tackles, 30.5 quarterback sacks and 37 tackles for loss in his five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.
Report: WR Jalen Nailor to sign with Raiders
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders are signing wide receiver Jalen Nailor. A sixth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2022 NFL Draft, Nailor has totaled 1,066 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on 69 receptions in four seasons.
Report: Raiders to sign C Tyler Linderbaum
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders are reportedly signing center Tyler Linderbaum. A three-time Pro Bowler and former first-round pick, Linderbaum played 1,008 snaps for the Baltimore Ravens in 2025 and allowed just two sacks.
Report: Raiders to re-sign CB Eric Stokes
The Raiders are reportedly re-signing cornerback Eric Stokes, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. In one season with the Silver and Black, Stokes totaled 53 tackles, three tackles for loss and five passes defensed in a career-high 16 starts.
Update: Stokes re-signed with the Raiders on March 9.

Report: Raiders trading for CB Taron Johnson
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Silver and Black are trading for Buffalo Bills CB Taron Johnson.
A fourth-round pick by the Bills in the 2018 Draft, Johnson has totaled 572 tackles, six interceptions, eight forced fumbles and eight sacks in 113 career games (87 starts). He was a Second-Team All-Pro in 2023.
Friday, March 6
Report: Raiders trading Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders have agreed to trade DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks. Trades cannot become official until the new league year begins on March 11 at 1 p.m. PT.
Update: On March 10, the Raiders released the following statement: The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time.
Report: Raiders tender three exclusive rights free agents
The Raiders have reportedly tendered contracts to three exclusive rights free agents: DE Charles Snowden and C Will Putnam, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, and S Tristin McCollum, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
An exclusive rights free agent is a player with fewer than three accrued seasons and an expired contract. If the player's original team offers him a one-year contract at the league minimum (based on his credited seasons), the player cannot negotiate with other teams.
