DE Shelby Harris has been added to the active roster.
ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed DE Shelby Harris from their practice squad, and placed TE Brian Leonhardt on the reserve/injured list, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Wednesday.
Harris was selected by the Raiders in the seventh round (235th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was waived by the Raiders on Sept. 18 and re-signed to the practice squad two days later. The 6-foot-2, 288-pounder played in 33 games at Illinois State over three years, posting 173 tackles, 14 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four passes defensed.
Leonhardt appeared in 12 games this year for the Silver and Black, making three starts. He totaled six receptions for 35 yards and one touchdown, which came in the Raiders' Sept. 28 contest against the Miami Dolphins in London.
Additionally, the team has signed K/P Michael Palardy to their practice squad. Palardy was signed by the Raiders back in June, before being waived/non-football illness by the team in early August.Â
