Oakland Raiders' offensive line coach Mike Tice recently had the chance to sit down with SiriusXM NFL Radio and talk in-depth about the team's offseason and the state of things as the Silver and Black head into training camp. We have already detailed his thoughts on the offensive line, including a potential rising star that Tice has an eye on.

Coach Tice also spoke on the Raiders' young signal-caller, Derek Carr, and how impressed he has been with the quarterback so far:

"You know, he's got great quickness, he's got a really nice release. He's got good feel for the passing game, he's a lot faster than I thought he was and a little bit bigger than I thought he was. I didn't know that he was of the stature that he is."

He continued on:

"I think this young man is going to be a good one. I like the fact that he lives in the building. I think he has a cot in Todd Downing's office – our quarterbacks coach – he really asks great questions about protections and what we're trying to do. I'm looking forward to him having an outstanding year."

To hear Tice's complete thoughts on Derek Carr and how the offensive line can help him achieve success in the season ahead, listen below:
