Raiders re-sign CB Darnay Holmes

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders re-signed unrestricted free agent CB Darnay Holmes, the club announced Tuesday.

Holmes returns for his second season with the Raiders after playing in 16 games with one start in 2024 and recording 30 tackles (14 solo), one sack, two tackles for loss and three passes defensed.

He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick (110th overall) with the New York Giants in 2020 and has appeared in 70 career games with 12 starts over his first five seasons, totaling 137 tackles (95 solo), four interceptions, 21 passes defensed, five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

A native of Pasadena, Calif., Holmes spent three years at UCLA and played in 35 games with 33 starts, registering 121 tackles (89), eight interceptions, 28 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors in 2019.
