ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have re-signed DT Justin Ellis to a three-year contract, the club announced Monday.

Ellis, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, was originally drafted by the team in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Over his four-year career, the run-stuffing defensive tackle has played in 60 games with 41 starts and totaled 134 tackles (82 solo), 0.5 sacks and three passes defensed.

The 6-foot-2, 335-pounder played in all 16 games last year, making 14 starts, while helping solidify the Raiders' interior defensive line. He posted a career-high 44 tackles and 0.5 sacks in 2017.

Before being drafted by the Raiders, the native of Monroe, La., played four years at Louisiana Tech, recording 102 tackles (37), 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
