Raiders Re-Sign Taylor Mays; Place Tuck on IR

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have re-signed free agent S Taylor Mays, the club announced Tuesday.

Mays, now in his sixth NFL season, rejoins the Raiders after playing in three games for the team earlier this season and totaling five tackles (two solo). He spent parts of this past offseason with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions after beginning his career with the San Francisco 49ers (2010) and Cincinnati Bengals (2011-14). The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder has totaled 77 tackles (53 solo), two passes defensed, one sack, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 69 career games.

In a corresponding move, the Raiders have placed DE Justin Tuck on the reserve/injured list.
