Raiders Ready to Head to Miami

THIS WEEK: The Oakland Raiders, members of the American Football Conference Western Division, are now in their 52nd season of pro football competition. The Raiders faced American Football Conference teams for the first nine games of the 2011 regular season with three straight contests versus fellow AFC West members. This week, the Silver and Black face an intra-conference opponent for the sixth time in 2011, traveling to Miami to face the AFC East Dolphins.

TELEVISION: This week's game will be televised on CBS, with Greg Gumbel handling play-by-play, and Pro Football Hall of FamerDan Dierdorf as color analyst. The game will be broadcast in the Bay Area on KPIX Channel 5. The game will also air in Sacramento on KOVR Channel 13 as well as on KHSL in Chico, KION in Monterey and KJEOin Fresno.

RADIO: The game will air live on Raiders Radio Network originating on KITS LIVE 105.3 FM, the Silver and Black's flagship for the multi-state Radio Network. Greg Papa and Raiders two-time Super Bowl winning head coach Tom Flores will man the booth for the 14th straight year. The radio pregame and postgame shows feature Raider Legends George Atkinson and David Humm.

SPANISH RADIO:Raider games in the 2011 airs in Spanish in the Bay Area on radio station KCNL 104.9 FM withFernando Arias and Ambrosio Ricohandling announcing duties.

SERIES: The Oakland Raiders hold a 16-13-1 advantage over the Miami Dolphins in regular season action since the teams first met in 1966 when Miami joined the AFL as an expansion franchise. The teams last played in 2010 in Oakland and last played in Miami in 2008.

LAST GAME:The Oakland Raiders defeated the Chicago Bears, 25-20, on Sunday, November 27 before a sold-out crowd at O.Co Coliseum in Oakland. K Sebastian Janikowski set a franchise record with six successful field goals—from 40, 47, 42, 19, 37 and 44 yards—and RB Michael Bush scored on a three-yard run. The Raiders recorded three interceptions, with S Michael Huff, CB Stanford Routt and LB Kamerion Wimbley all being credited with picks. P Shane Lechler broke a team record for longest punt with an 80-yarder and QB Carson Palmer passed for over 300 yards (301) on the day.

NEXT WEEK:The Raiders are on the road for the fourth time in six weeks as they travel to Green Bay to face the NFC North Packers before returning home to face another NFC North team, the Detroit Lions, at O.Co Coliseum on Sunday, December 18.
