The Raiders returned to the practice field this afternoon for the first time since returning from Green Bay, and now begin preparation for their final preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

Sunday's practice also signaled the return of DT Justin Ellis to the practice field, who had missed time due to a concussion earlier this preseason. In addition to Ellis' return, CB Tarell Brown was also back to work after leaving Friday's game in Green Bay early with a concussion.

Following practice, Head Coach Dennis Allen spoke to the media, giving an injury update on his team and talking about their preparation for their match-up with the Seahawks.

"I thought we had a good practice today," said Coach Allen. "We've got a couple of days here to kind of work on ourselves before we get ready to play the Seahawks. Most of today's practice was really working on ourselves."

In addition to speaking about the status of the team, Coach Allen also discussed areas of the team's performance that he was pleased with, as well as areas that needed improvement.

"Starting off on offense, I think we're going to be able to run the football," he said. "I think we've proven that we're going to be able to run the football. I think we've got some explosive players in the backfield. We've got a big, physical offensive line."

He continued, "I think we've got to improve in the passing game, from an offensive perspective and all elements that are involved in that. The protection element, the routes, finishing the plays down the field in a contested environment, putting the ball in the right spots, those are all things that we've got to continue to get better at."

Taking the field for the first time after the loss, WR Andre Holmes was pleased with the effort that the team put forth during practice.

"It was a good day," Holmes said. "We worked on some situations and I feel like we got better."
