Tackle Marshall Newhouse and Cornerback Sean smith

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have released T Marshall Newhouse and CB Sean Smith, the club announced Monday.

Newhouse started 14 games at right tackle for the Raiders in 2017, and has played in 100 games with 70 starts over his eight-year NFL career.

Over two seasons with the Raiders, Smith appeared in 29 games with 22 starts and totaled 77 tackles, four interceptions and 17 passes defensed. A nine-year NFL veteran, Smith has played in 137 career games with 122 starts.
