The Raiders have signed free agent offensive lineman Andre Gurode, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Friday.

The veteran lineman, whose last name is pronounced jer-ODD, played in 151 games with 127 starts in 10 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2002-10) and Baltimore Ravens (2011). In 2012, Gurode was active for two games with the Chicago Bears, but did not see action.

The 6-foot-4, 318-pound Gurode was named to the Pro Bowl five straight seasons (2006-10) as a member of the Cowboys. He has started at least 13 games in eight of his previous 11 NFL seasons at both center and guard.

Gurode was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (37th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft out of Colorado, where he was a four-year starter and a first-team All-American as a senior.
