NAPA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent K Kevin Goessling, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Thursday.

Goessling, who participated on a tryout basis at Oakland's rookie mini-camp this past May, was a three-time All-Western Athletic Conference selection at Fresno State. Goessling played in 52 games over four years at Fresno State (2008-11), scoring 373 points and converting 61-of-81 field goal attempts during his collegiate career. He hit a career-long 58-yard field goal as a redshirt freshman.

To make room on the roster, the Raiders have waived/non-football illness K/P Michael Palardy.
