ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed seventh-round draft pick WR Marcell Ateman, the club announced Wednesday.
Ateman was selected 228th overall by the Raiders in last month's draft. He played four seasons at Oklahoma State, appearing in 51 games with 29 starts and totaling 146 receptions for 2,466 yards (16.9 avg.) with 13 touchdowns. Ateman's 2,466 receiving yards rank sixth in school history.
As a senior, the Wylie, Texas, native played in all 13 games as a senior, starting 10 games and posted 59 receptions for 1,156 yards and eight touchdowns. He also earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team from the league's coaches.
