Raiders Sign Third-Round Pick DT Eddie Vanderdoes

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed third-round draft pick DT Eddie Vanderdoes, the club announced Wednesday.

Vanderdoes was selected in the third round (88th overall) by the Raiders in April's draft. He played four seasons at UCLA, appearing in 39 games with 32 starts, and totaled 126 tackles (69 solo), four sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries over his career.

The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder was named an honorable mention All-Pac-12 three times (2013-14, 16) and selected to the Freshman All-American First Team in 2013 by Sporting News and the Football Writers Association. As a senior in 2016, the Auburn, Calif., native made 29 tackles (15) and posted 1.5 sacks in 12 games.
