Raiders WR Amari Cooper Named Pepsi Rookie of the Week

Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooperhas been selected as the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK for Week 9, the NFL announced today. Cooper caught 7 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders heartbreaking 38-35 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9 action.

This is Cooper's second Pepsi Rookie of the Week award in the last three weeks. After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the "5thAnnual NFL Honors" awards show in San Francisco on CBS on Saturday, Feb. 6, the night before Super Bowl 50.

This is Pepsi's 14th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 13th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
