Award-winning actor and Oakland-native Tom Hanks recently reached out to the family of the late Ken Stabler with a touching letter.
Stabler passed away in July. He is a Senior Committee nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2016. On Christmas day, NFL Network aired A Football Life episode with a look back at Stabler's life and times.
