Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs CB Marcus Peters, Green Bay Packers CB Damarious Randall, Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooper and Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham are the nominees for the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK for Week 15, the NFL announced today.
Cooper caught 6 passes for 120 yards and 2 tochdowns in the Raiders loss to the Green Bay Packers. He became the first Raiders rookie to surpass 1,000 yards receving in a season, and became the first Raider to accomplish that feat since Randy Moss in 2005.
Fans can vote for one of these five players on www.nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 3 PM ET to determine the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK. The PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEKwill be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced at the "5th Annual NFL Honors" awards show in San Francisco on CBS on Saturday, Feb. 6, the night before Super Bowl 50.
This is Pepsi's 14th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 13th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
