In 2015, Raiders Head Coach Jack Del Rio routinely professed that his team could compete with anybody. In 2016, the Raiders no longer talk about going out to compete – they step on the field with the expectation to win. So far, the change in mindset has been apparent, and the Silver and Black moved to 4-1 on the young season with their latest victory over the San Diego Chargers.
The stars showed up on Sunday yet again – Derek Carr aired it out all over the field to Amari Cooper, and Michael Crabtree found the end zone yet again. First-round draft pick Karl Joseph recorded his first NFL interception, and newly-acquired players Sean Smith and Perry Riley Jr. also had strong performances.
