The 2017 NFL Honors are taking place on Saturday evening, and a few Oakland Raiders are up for awards at the event. Defensive end Khalil Mack has been nominated for the league's Defensive Player of the Year, quarterback Derek Carr -- along with Mack -- is a nominee for the Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Year, and Head Coach Jack Del Rio has been nominated as the NFL Coach of the Year, an award that has never gone to the head coach of the Silver and Black.
The last time a member of the Silver and Black earned the honor of Defensive Player of the Year was in 1980 when Lester Hayes finished the season with 13 interceptions, one touchdown, and two fumble recoveries.
You can follow along with the ceremony on February 4 at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on FOX or FOX Sports Go.
