Former Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis was all about moving forward, and lighting the way for people to follow. Davis always said, "the fire that burns brightest is the will to win," and, "the greatness of the Raiders is in its future." Sunday night, the Oakland Raiders played host to the Dallas Cowboys on primetime television, and as is tradition, the Al Davis Memorial Torch needed to be lit prior to kickoff.
Local children from around the Bay Area were symbolically chosen to light the torch, as the next generation of Raiders fans will one day lead the way.
