The Las Vegas Raiders signed QB Geno Smith to a multi-year contract extension Monday.

Smith, who was acquired via trade with the Seattle Seahawks in March, is entering his 13th NFL season and joins the Silver and Black after five seasons with the Seahawks. He's coming off a season where he reached career highs in completion percentage (70.4%) and passing yards (4,320).

A two-time Pro Bowler (2022-23) and AP Comeback Player of the Year (2022), Smith has appeared in 94 career games with 83 starts and completed 1,721-of-2,655 passes (64.8 percent) for 19,143 yards, 105 touchdowns, 72 interceptions and a 88.0 passer rating. He also has 316 rushing attempts for 1,494 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He originally entered the league as a second-round draft pick of the New York Jets in the 2013 NFL Draft and spent four years with the club before spending time with the New York Giants (2017) and Los Angeles Chargers (2018).
