Thursday afternoon, the NFL announced the full list of college prospects invited to the upcoming 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. The event showcasing the talents of college football's top prospects will begin later this month on February 26 and will wrap up March 4.
Players will participate in a long list of drills, meetings, and interviews that highlight their athletic gifts. Among the players invited, the event will feature Heisman-trophy-winner Kyler Murray, as well as potential top five picks Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen, and Nick Bosa.
In addition to the big names, there are plenty of local prospects from the Bay Area attending the Combine. Stanford has seven players attending, and Keelan Doss – who was a standout at the Reese's Senior Bowl – will represent UC Davis in Indianapolis. San Jose State will also make an appearance via tight end Josh Oliver. The Bay Area will have nine players participating in the rigmarole of the Combine; we'll see how they perform.
