- QB Jameis Winston held his press conference in front of a huge crowd. He owned up to his previous actions. One of the things that helped change his mindset was spending time with kids in the community and seeing the way the looked up to him. He also has a younger brother that has inspired him to be a better role model.
- During WR Amari Cooper's press conference, he was asked if he'd met with the Raiders. He said he had not yet met with Oakland.
- DL Leonard Williams – USC – grew up a Raiders fan. He said he has always loved their colors and their tradition. His ultimate goal is to go No. 1 overall, but he wouldn't be disappointed to fall to the Raiders at No. 4.
- Leonard Williams couldn't play football until high school, not because he didn't want to, but because he was too big for Pop Warner. He said that when he went to play in middle school you had to be less than 180 pounds and he weighed in over 200.
- The offensive linemen and tight ends had their on-field workouts today. Coaches, GMs and scouts sat in the stands and suites watching the first groups run the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump and all of the other drills involved in the Combine. Ali Marpet, a guard out of Hobart, clocked the fastest 40-time for offensive linemen.
- The praise for Ken Norton, Jr., continued with a rave review from Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll, who called him a tremendous leader.
- Rich Gannon likes the addition of Bill Musgrave as offensive coordinator in the development of Derek Carr.
