Mock Draft Tracker 6.0: Post-free agency frenzy

Each week leading up to the NFL Draft, Raiders.com will compile the latest mock drafts from top analysts and take a look at who they're predicting the Silver and Black will select with the No. 6 overall pick.

With the first few days of free agency behind us, take a look how mock drafts have been shaken up.

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "The Raiders can take some pressure off of Geno Smith by adding Jeanty, who is one of the top three players in the draft."

Date: March 18

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "Elusiveness. Speed. Physicality. Vision with the ball in his hands. Jeanty really has it all, rushing for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns last season. Plus, he has some pass-catching upside, with 66 catches over the past two campaigns. The Raiders were last in rushing last season, averaging 3.6 yards per carry and 79.8 per game. Jeanty would change everything there and create a solid offensive nucleus with Smith, Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers."

Date: March 18

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well, Pete Carroll isn't going to stop prioritizing the running back position just because he took a year away from the NFL. Ashton Jeanty, the best running back prospect since at least Bijan Robinson, immediately gives the Raiders a formidable rushing attack."

Date: March 17

Pick: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Analysis: "Adding Graham would bolster an already strong defensive line, putting him with Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins. That might be the most disruptive defensive line in football with Graham, and you need that to beat Mahomes."

Date: March 17

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "The Raiders have their new quarterback in Geno Smith, and now they have perhaps the most dynamic offensive player in the class in Ashton Jeanty."

Date: March 17

Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Analysis: "The Raiders desperately need a top-tier wide receiver, and McMillan provides that. Quarterback Geno Smith thrived in Seattle with DK Metcalf — a big-bodied, athletic wideout — and McMillan is cut from the same cloth with a more refined route-running skill set. Las Vegas' offense has some talent, especially after drafting tight end Brock Bowers a year ago, and McMillan should create more open looks for Bowers and Jakobi Meyers."

Date: March 17

Pick: Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

Analysis: "An offensive line of Kolton Miller, Jordan Meredith, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Dylan Parham, and Armand Membou has the potential in time to be one of the league's best if they keep this group together."

Date: March 17

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "The Raiders secured their quarterback of the near future, trading a third-round pick for Geno Smith, and they add more offensive firepower with Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty is a complete three-down back who's a chore to bring down."

Date: March 14

Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (via mock trade with New England Patriots up to No. 4)

Analysis: "Trade! Although Sanders' standing as QB2 is still up for grabs, the Raiders decide to get their guy of the future. A vet QB may still be an option, but the Raiders decided no more half-measures at the position and get themselves a player to commit to under a new regime."

Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (via mock trade with New England Patriots up to No. 4)

Analysis: "Trading for Geno Smith lessens the urgency at quarterback, but the Raiders will have some thinking to do if Sanders falls out of the top three. The cost of a two-spot jump isn't prohibitive. Smith turns 35 this fall. If Tom Brady, Pete Carroll and John Spytek like Sanders, it wouldn't be a shock to see them pull the trigger on a small move up for a quarterback of the future."

Date: March 13

Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Analysis: "Las Vegas made an aggressive move to acquire veteran quarterback Geno Smith, but the collection of pass catchers leaves a lot to be desired. Tetairoa McMillan is a bigger body that does offer some ability to play in the short to intermediate as well."

Date: March 13

Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Analysis: "The 6-foot-4, 219-pound McMillan shouldn't have any trouble endearing himself to Pete Carroll, who has an affinity for supersized receivers, and general manager John Spytek, who knows the value of a target in the Mike Evans mold after his time with the Buccaneers."

Date: March 12

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "Everything is new and shiny in Las Vegas with the Raiders, and Pete Carroll gets another instant impact type in Jeanty to lead the way from the backfield."
