Raiders 2025 Mock Draft Tracker 4.0: Post-Combine edition

Each week leading up to the NFL Draft, Raiders.com will compile the latest mock drafts from top analysts and take a look at who they're predicting the Silver and Black will select with the No. 6 overall pick.

With the Combine wrapped up, take a look at how the latest projections have been shaken up.

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "The Raiders are in the market for playmakers. Ideally, one of those playmakers would be a quarterback, but adding Jeanty to Chip Kelly's offense would vastly upgrade a unit lacking an identity."

Date: March 4

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "What sets Jeanty apart is his contact balance, as he finished with more yards after contact (1,733) than any other FBS back. In fact, Omarion Hampton -- the No. 2 running back on my board -- had 1,660 total rushing yards. Drafting a running back this high will prompt debate, but the Raiders desperately need help in that department after finishing 2024 last in rushing yards per game (79.8) and yards per rush (3.6)."

Date: March 4

Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Analysis: "Good luck finding someone tougher than Shedeur Sanders. He'll stand in the pocket and take a hit (after hit after hit) to make a play downfield. He's not the athlete and doesn't have the arm strength of Cam Ward, but he does a lot of things really well. I would like to see him play on time more consistently, but part of that had to do with Colorado's inconsistent offensive line."

Date: March 4

Pick: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Analysis: "With Tom Brady in the mix, look for the Raiders to start targeting prospects known for leadership and a love of ball -- guys like Walker."

Date: March 3

Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado (via mock trade with New England Patriots to No. 4 overall)

Analysis: "Trade! Although Sanders' standing as QB2 is still up for grabs, the Raiders decide to get their guy of the future. A vet QB may still be an option, but the Raiders decided no more half-measures at the position and get themselves a player to commit to under a new regime."

Date: March 3

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "New Raiders general manager John Spytek discussed emulating the Eagles' team-building strategy of leaning on strong trenches and the run game. I believe Jeanty is firmly in play for Las Vegas at No. 6, as the team earned the lowest PFF rushing grade in the league in 2024."

Date: March 3

Pick: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Analysis: "The Raiders would love for Ward or Sanders to be available here, but with both off the board they land Walker. He is a hybrid player who can play edge or off-ball linebacker."

Date: March 3

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "Las Vegas made the big swing last week for quarterback Matthew Stafford and fell short. Knowing where they rank in this draft and that they have a shorter window than many rebuilding teams thanks to Pete Carroll's age, don't be surprised if they take another hack at an established NFL quarterback to be their answer. Doing so, along with a deeply invested offensive line, makes Ashton Jeanty a potential massive addition as a missing link to a dangerous offense."

Date: March 3

Pick: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Analysis: "The Raiders would love for [Mason] Graham — or a QB — to fall to them. But Walker is a sneaky option to go here, given his versatility inside and out. His measurables are comparable to Haason Reddick, who went 13th in 2017."

Date: Feb. 28

Pick: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Analysis: "With the top-two quarterbacks off the board, the Raiders and new head coach Pete Carroll focus their attention on stopping the signal-callers in their division. Jalon Walker would go a long way in helping them do that, as the linebacker/edge rusher hybrid has the length and athleticism to be a tone-setter along with Maxx Crosby on the defensive side of the ball in Las Vegas."

Date: Feb. 28

Pick: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

Analysis: "Las Vegas has been mentioned as a possibility for Myles Garrett and, while the two are different players, the Raiders would do well to add more of a pass-rushing threat opposite Maxx Crosby. They could use Tyree Wilson, Crosby and Walker together on pass-rushing downs."

Date: Feb. 27

Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Analysis: "This is likely not the expectation many have for how the Silver and Black would address their backfield through the draft. But the Raiders have the financial flexibility to outspend the market on the free-agent quarterback of their choosing – Sam Darnold? – and then pivot their focus to overhauling a rushing attack that ranked a distant last in both total yards (79.8 per game) and yards per carry (3.6)."

Date: Feb. 26
