Raiders announce 2025 coaching staff

Carroll: Enters his 31st season in the NFL, most recently spending 14 seasons as the Executive VP and Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks (2010-23)…Returned to the NFL after spending nine years (2001-09) as head coach at USC…He began his NFL career as defensive backs coach for Buffalo (1984) and Minnesota (1985-89) before becoming the New York Jets defensive coordinator (1990-93) and head coach (1994)…He spent two years as the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator (1995-96) before becoming the head coach of the New England Patriots (1997-99)…Started his coaching career at the collegiate level, serving as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Pacific, for three years (1974-76), working with the wide receivers and secondary…He spent one season as a graduate assistant working with the secondary at Arkansas (1977) and had stints as a secondary coach at Iowa State (1978) and Ohio State (1979) before spending three seasons (1980-82) as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at North Carolina State…He returned to Pacific in 1983 as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Kelly: Has 34 years of coaching experience with 30 years at the collegiate level and four as an NFL head coach…Most recently spent the 2024 season as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Ohio State after six seasons as the head coach at UCLA (2018-23)…Served as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers (2016) and Philadelphia Eagles (2013-15) following four seasons as head coach at the University of Oregon (2009-12)…Spent 13 years at his alma mater, the University of New Hampshire, where he served as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach from 1999-2006 and also as offensive line coach (1997-98) and running backs coach (1992, 1994-96)...Began his coaching career as an assistant at Columbia University for two seasons (1990-91) before spending the 1993 season as the defensive coordinator at Johns Hopkins University.

Binckes: Enters his first season as an NFL coach after spending the past two seasons (2023-24) as an offensive graduate assistant at Ohio State…He spent the 2022 season in a similar role at Temple where he worked with the wide receivers…Prior to that, he was at Florida International in 2021 as the team's running backs coach after joining the staff as a graduate assistant in 2020…Began his coaching career at Nassau Community College from 2016-19, where he held several roles including offensive coordinator, wide receivers coach, offensive line coach and strength and conditioning coach.

B. Carroll: Returns to the NFL for his seventh season after spending last year as the University of Washington's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach…He served in the same role at the University of Arizona from 2021-23 after six seasons as the run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the Seattle Seahawks (2015-20)…Prior to his move to the NFL, spent four seasons coaching tight ends and wide receivers at the University of Miami (2011-14)…Began his coaching career at USC where he spent the two seasons (2002-03) as a graduate assistant before being promoted to tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator for six seasons (2004-09).

N. Carroll: Enters his first season with the Raiders after spending the 2024 season with the Carolina Panthers as the pass game coordinator…He spent the previous 14 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks in various roles, including senior offensive assistant (2022-23), wide receivers coach (2018-21), assistant wide receivers coach (2014-17), offensive assistant (2013) and defensive assistant (2011-12).

Dickerson: Enters his 20th season in the NFL and first as the assistant offensive line coach for the Raiders...He most recently served as the offensive line coach for the Cleveland Browns in his second stint with the team in 2024 after initially working as the defensive quality control coach in 2009 and as the assistant offensive line coach in 2010…Prior to rejoining Cleveland, he spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, serving as run game coordinator (2021) and then as offensive line coach (2022-23)…He worked as the assistant offensive line coach with the St. Louis and Los Angeles Rams from 2012-20 after breaking into the NFL coaching ranks with the New York Jets from 2006-08, serving as a defensive quality control coach.

Fuller: Enters his first season in the NFL coaching ranks after serving as the assistant offensive line coach at Appalachian State University in 2024 after one season as a graduate assistant at the University of North Carolina…He played five seasons as a guard in the NFL for the Houston Texans (2017), Washington (2018) and Seattle Seahawks (2020-22)…He played collegiately at Baylor from 2012-16, where he was a three-year starter on the offensive line and was named a two-time All-Big 12 selection.

McCullough: Joins the Las Vegas Raiders after spending the past three seasons at Notre Dame, where he served as the running backs coach in 2022 before being promoted to run game coordinator/running backs coach from 2023-24…He served as the associate head coach/running backs at Indiana in 2021…Prior to his second stint with the Hoosiers, he spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs as the running backs coach…Before entering the NFL ranks, he spent the 2017 season as the run game coordinator and running backs coach for USC after six seasons as running backs coach for Indiana (2011-16)…Started his coaching career at his alma mater, Miami (Ohio), as an offensive and special teams intern and running backs coach in 2010.

Olson: Enters his 23rd season in the NFL and seventh season with the Raiders, having served as the team's offensive coordinator for two stints (2013-14 and 2018-21)…Has 17 years of experience as an NFL offensive coordinator, having also held the role with the Lions (2004-2005), Rams (2006-2007), Buccaneers (2008-2011) and Jaguars (2015-2016)…He returns to the Silver and Black after most recently serving as the Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach in 2023…Has also worked with the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in his career as an NFL assistant…Began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Washington State before returning to his alma mater as Central Washington's offensive coordinator…He then coached at Idaho for three seasons before becoming the quarterbacks coach at Purdue…Started his NFL career with the 49ers in 2001 as the quarterbacks coach.

Philbin: Enters his 20th season in the NFL and second season with the Raiders after spending last season as a senior offensive assistant and interim offensive line coach…He brings 39 years of coaching experience, including five seasons as a head coach in the NFL…Before returning to the NFL in 2024, he spent the one season at Ohio State working with the offensive line…He worked with the Dallas Cowboys from 2020-2022, serving as the club's offensive line coach…Served as the offensive coordinator with the Green Bay Packers during two different stints, first from 2007-11, and then again in 2018…He rejoined the Packers after two seasons as the assistant head coach and offensive line for the Indianapolis Colts (2016-17) and four seasons as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins (2012-15)…From 2007-11, served as the Packers offensive coordinator after originally joining the Packers in 2003 as an assistant offensive line coach and then spending two seasons as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach (2004-05) before being promoted to offensive line coach in 2006…Went to Green Bay after 19 seasons coaching at the collegiate level, including four as offensive line coach at the University of Iowa (1999-2002)…Prior to Iowa, Philbin served as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Harvard from 1997-98…He was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Northeastern University from 1995-96 after one season as offensive line coach at Ohio University in 1994…He also spent four seasons (1990-93) at Allegheny College.

Steckel: Enters his second season as tight ends coach with the Las Vegas Raiders…He joined the Silver and Black after spending one season as the assistant offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears in 2023…Prior to joining the Bears, Steckel spent 10 seasons with the Tennessee Titans in multiple roles, including tight ends coach (2021-22), offensive assistant (2018-20 and 2014-16), assistant wide receivers coach (2017) and assistant to the head coach (2013)…He entered the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, serving as the assistant to the head coach for four seasons (2009-12).

Graham: Enters his 17th season in the NFL and his fourth season as the defensive coordinator with the Silver and Black…Prior to joining the Raiders, he coached in his second stint with the New York Giants from 2020-21, serving as the club's assistant head coach/defensive coordinator…Earned his first defensive coordinator role with the Miami Dolphins in 2019 after spending the 2018 season as the Green Bay Packers inside linebackers coach and defensive run game coordinator…In his first stint with the Giants, he coached the defensive line from 2016-17…Began his NFL coaching career in New England, where he spent seven seasons with the Patriots (2009-15) in various roles…He was a coaching assistant in 2009 before being promoted to defensive assistant in 2010 and linebackers coach in 2011…He moved to defensive line from 2012-13 before returning to linebackers in 2014-15…He joined the Patriots following two seasons (2007-08) as a graduate assistant at Notre Dame, where he worked with the defense…Prior to Notre Dame, he spent three seasons (2004-06) as an assistant coach at Richmond, coaching tight ends from 2005-06 and the defensive line in 2004…Started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Wagner (2002-03).

Glenn: Enters his 14th year as an NFL coach and most recently served as the assistant special teams coach for the Washington Commanders in 2024…Prior to the Commanders, he spent 12 seasons (2012-23) in multiple roles with the Seattle Seahawks, including linebackers coach (2018-23), assistant linebackers coach (2017), defensive assistant (2016), quality control – defense (2014-15) and coaching assistant/special teams (2012-13)…He entered the league after spending two seasons (2010-11) as the University of Washington's quality control coach and three seasons as a linebackers coach for North Carolina Wesleyan College (2006-08).

Jackson: Enters his third season in the NFL and first season as the assistant defensive line coach for the Las Vegas Raiders…He most recently served as the assistant defensive line coach for the Houston Texans in 2022 after one season as a defensive assistant with the Miami Dolphins in 2021…Prior to starting his coaching career, he played four seasons (2016-19) as a defensive lineman at the University of Illinois.

Leonard: Returns for his third season with the Raiders with the added title of run game coordinator after serving as the defensive line coach from 2023-24…Prior to Las Vegas, he spent one season with the Baltimore Ravens as an outside linebackers coach in 2022 after three seasons with the Miami Dolphins, where he served as outside linebackers coach (2021), assistant defensive line coach (2020) and linebackers coach (2019)…He spent the first six seasons of his NFL coaching career (2013-18) as an assistant with the New York Giants…Prior to joining the NFL, he coached at his alma mater, North Carolina State, where he was a graduate assistant for three seasons (2010-12).

McKenzie: Returns to the NFL coaching ranks with the Raiders after one season as a defensive analyst for the University of North Carolina in 2024…He enters his seventh season as an NFL coach after most recently working in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins as an outside linebackers coach in 2022…Prior to joining the Dolphins, he spent one season as the linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions in 2020 after two seasons (2018-19) with the Tennessee Titans as inside linebackers coach…His first NFL coaching job was in 2017 with the Los Angeles Rams, where he served as an assistant special teams coach…Prior to that, he served as a defensive assistant at Stanford in 2016 and a graduate assistant at Colorado in 2015...Before becoming a coach, he spent five years as an NFL linebacker and was a third-round pick (97th overall) by the New England Patriots in 2009.

Rasool: Enters his first season in the NFL after spending one season with the University of Florida as the Quality Control - Cornerbacks coach…Prior to Florida, he served as the cornerbacks coach and special teams assistant for Bowling Green State University in 2023 after two seasons as a senior defensive analyst (2021-22) at the University of Arizona…He spent two years at the University of Missouri as a graduate assistant working with the safeties in 2019 and defensive line in 2020 and also served as the secondary coach and recruiting coordinator at Eastern Arizona College from 2014-16 after coaching cornerbacks at Pima Community College in 2012.

Robertson: An 18-year NFL coaching veteran enters his second stint as a coach with the Silver and Black after coaching defensive backs for the Raiders from 2014-16…Most recently served as the secondary coach for the New Orleans Saints (2023-24) and held the same role with the Arizona Cardinals (2019-22) and Denver Broncos (2017-18)…He coached the Detroit Lions secondary in 2013 after being promoted from assistant secondary coach in 2012…Began his coaching career with the Tennessee Titans as assistant secondary coach for two seasons (2007-08) before being promoted to secondary coach from 2009-11…He played in the NFL for 12 years with the Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans (1991-2000) and the Seattle Seahawks (2001-02) after entering the league with Houston as a fourth-round selection (102nd overall) in the 1991 NFL Draft out of Iowa State.
