ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed G Richie Incognito to a two-year extension, the club announced Monday.
Incognito was originally a third-round selection (81st overall) by the Rams in the 2005 NFL Draft. Over his 12-year career, Incognito has started in all 162 appearances and has been named to the Pro Bowl three times.
A 6-foot-3, 325-pound guard, Incognito signed with the Silver and Black this past offseason and started in all of his 12 appearances with the club. Incognito helped the offensive unit rank sixth in sacks allowed percentage this season (5.3 percent) after surrendering just one sack of his own in 432 pass-blocking snaps, per Pro Football Focus, while also paving the way for the first 1,000-yard rookie rusher in Raiders history en route to being named a Pro Bowl Alternate.
