NAPA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent TE Jake McGee, the club announced Tuesday.

McGee originally signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in May 2016 before being waived later in the month. He played two seasons at Florida after transferring from Virginia, where he spent three seasons from 2011-13. For his career, he appeared in 50 games and totaled 112 receptions for 1,150 yards with 11 touchdowns. As a senior in 2015, the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder was named to the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team and named one of eight John Mackey Award semifinalists.
