Raiders Sign TE Tory Humphrey

The Raiders have signed free agent TE Tory Humphrey.

The Oakland Raiders have signed veteran tight end Tory Humphrey, the team announced Tuesday. Humphrey has played in 31 career games with nine starts with the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers since entering the NFL in 2005.

The 6-foot-2, 257-pound Humphrey spent parts of the past three seasons with the Saints, playing in seven games with two starts. He played in 24 games in three seasons with the Packers. In 2008, Humphrey played in all 16 regular-season games with seven starts for Green Bay, and totaled 11 receptions for 162 yards. He has 13 career catches for 181 yards.

The Saginaw, Mich., native was a four-year starter at Central Michigan, totaling 68 receptions for 862 yards and seven touchdowns.
