Several Local, Pac-12 Prospects to Play in Saturday's Senior Bowl

Practices are in full swing in Mobile, Alabama, as college prospects look to parlay a good week of work and eye-opening game day performances into a shot in the NFL. The North and South squad hit the practice field for the time yesterday, with several local and Pac-12 players in the ranks.

Local

RB Tyler Ervin - San Jose State
Rushed for 1,469 yards, caught 44 passes for 337 yards and averaged 23.9 yards per kickoff return in 2015.

QB Kevin Hogan - Stanford
Completed 206 of 304 pass attempts for 2,867 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2015.

LB Blake Martinez - Stanford
All-Pac-12 First Team and Associated Press All-Pac-12 First Team linebacker who recorded 10+ tackles in seven games as a senior.

G Joshua Garnett - Stanford
The first Outland Trophy award winner in Stanford history, Garnett also earned Pac-12 Lineman of the Year and First Team All-America honors.

T Kyle Murphy - Stanford
The 6'7", San Clemente, Calif.,-native earned All-Pac 12 honors as a senior as the Cardinal's starting left tackle.

WR D.J. Foster - Arizona State
Hauled in 59 receptions for 584 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 280 yards on the ground in 2015.

QB Cody Kessler - USC
Kessler completed 553-of-815 passes (67.9%) for 6,803 yards with 59 TDs and just 12 interceptions in his career at USC.

K Ka'imi Fairbairn - UCLA
The 2015 Lou Groza Award-winner became the all-time leading scorer for the Pac-12 Conference and UCLA during the 2015 season.

WR Jordan Payton - UCLA
UCLA's all-time leader in receptions, Payton caught 78 passes for 1,106 yards and 4 touchdowns in 13 games in 2015.

FB Soma Vainuku - USC
Cousin of Cincinnati Bengals and former Trojans LB Rey Maualuga, Vainuku carried the ball 24 times for 148 yards and 3 touchdowns in 4 seasons with USC.

LB Jared Norris - Utah
The Bakersfield, Calif.,-native was second on the team with 86 tackles in 2015. He played in 41 total games with 31 starts during his career at Utah.

G Joe Dahl - Washington State
Second Team All-Pac-12 tackle missed the last month of the 2015 campaign with a broken foot. He was a stalwart in the Cougars high-octane offense.

DE Jason Fanaika - Utah
Chalked up 50 tackles and 3 sacks in 12 games for Utah in 2015 after recording 55 tackles and 5 sacks during the 2014 campaign. 

The game will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and kickoff is set for Saturday at 11:30 a.m. PT on NFL Network. The Dallas Cowboys coaching staff is leading the North squad while the Jacksonville Jaguars coaches are tutoring the South players.
