What to know

After two weeks on the road, the Broncos return to Empower Field at Mile High riding a two-game win streak thanks to a 26-7 victory over the Buccaneers and a 10-9 win over the Jets.

Denver's strength has been its defense, which currently ranks third in the league in pass defense (146.0 yards per game) and has allowed just 55 points over four games. A week after sacking Baker Mayfield seven times, the Broncos notched 5.0 sacks on four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, limited the Jets' rushing attack to 2.8 yards per attempt and kept their opponent out of the end zone last Sunday.

Rookie quarterback Bo Nix will get his first dose of an AFC West rivalry when facing the Raiders. Nix, the 12th overall pick in the 2024 Draft, has seen improvement since Week 1 but struggled against a stout Jets defense, ending the day 12-of-25 for 60 yards and his first career passing touchdown against one of the league's best red zone defenses.
