Raiders select DT JJ Pegues with the No. 180 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft

With the No. 180 pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders selected Ole Miss defensive tackle JJ Pegues.

Pegues played in 38 games with 23 starts over three seasons with the Rebels and was named to the 2024 All-SEC Third Team (Coaches). He totaled 110 tackles (51 solo), 26.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, seven pass breakups and one fumble recovery at Ole Miss. Pegues also featured on offense, rushing 26 times for 86 yards and seven touchdowns plus catching one touchdown pass.

He began his collegiate career at Auburn as a tight end before converting to the defensive line.
