ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent WR Martavis Bryant and LS Trent Sieg, the club announced Wednesday.
Bryant was originally acquired via trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past May. Now in his fifth season, Bryant was drafted by the Steelers in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft, where he set a franchise record for total touchdowns (14) in a player's first 16 regular season contests. In 36 career appearances, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver has made 16 starts and compiled 126 receptions for 1,917 yards (15.2 avg.) and 17 touchdowns, adding 14 rushing attempts for 71 yards and one score. His postseason totals include 21 receptions for 322 yards, adding three touchdowns.
Sieg originally signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of this year's NFL Draft. A four-year player at Colorado State, the 6-foot-3, 240-pound long snapper appeared in 52 games for the Rams without missing a snap.
In corresponding moves, the Raiders have placed LS Andrew DePaola on the Reserve/Injured List and have waived WR Keon Hatcher.
