Wide Receiver Jaydon Mickens
Day Four of the Oakland Raiders pre camp training is in the books. Second-round pick Obi Melifonwu was able to participate in the final of pre camp Thursday, after signing his contract Wednesday afternoon.
The Silver and Black have a young core of players hungry to not only make the roster, but come in and contribute to an already-talented team. For many of those players, the key to success is competing their way on to the special teams unit, coached by Special Teams Coordinator Brad Seely. Head Coach Jack Del Rio always preaches being balanced in all three phases of the game, and Seely's group plays an important role in that process.
Thursday, Seely got the players fired up during some special teams drills, which carried over to some impressive playmaking during one of the team's seven-on-seven drill. Wide receiver Jaydon Mickens continues to flash his speed down the sideline, as well as express his passion for the game in the process. With the veterans set to arrive in less than 24 hours, let's take a look at the highlights from Day Four.
