The Las Vegas Raiders and Credit One Bank hosted a check presentation event Wednesday afternoon to celebrate a $100,000 donation to the Maxx Crosby Foundation and the YMCA of Southern Nevada.

As part of their "One For The Community" program, Credit One Bank pledged to donate $2,000 for each sack recorded by the Raiders during the 2024 season.

When the Raiders defense finished the year with 38 sacks, Credit One Bank rounded up from that $76,000 total to bring the full donation to $100,000, which was split evenly between both charities.

"Maxx has been amazing," said Christina Ortiz, senior manager of sponsorships at Credit One Bank. "You can see him out with the kids being super engaging. He's a natural and he loves to do this."

After the check was presented, Crosby made it a day to remember as he joined Raider Rusher and multiple Raiderettes to toss footballs and sign autographs for kids from the YMCA program on the outdoor field at the Southern Nevada location.

It's the latest community event for Crosby, who was named the Raiders' 2024 nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

"It's incredible being able to come out here and be with the kids," Crosby said. "Starting my foundation, this is what it's all about. Not just sending money but coming out here and making an impact."

The event marked Credit One Bank's fourth year partnering with the Raiders and second with Crosby's foundation.

"We're all aligned with the vision of what we want to accomplish," Crosby said. "Obviously everyone knows we're dealing with teen addiction and giving back to the youth and the kids and animal rescue. We're doing all those things and just being out here with the kids has been really cool."

While Crosby was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl after leading the Silver and Black with 7.5 sacks, rushing the passer was a team effort. Eighteen Raiders contributed at least a half-sack this season, the most in a single season in franchise history since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

Those contributions, along with the added donation from Credit One Bank, helped invest the $100,000 back into the local Las Vegas community.
