HENDERSON, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders have announced four additions to the coaching staff for the team's 2024 training camp as part of the NFL's Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program.

Caver Jr.: Caver Jr. is entering his second season as wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at Livingstone College…He previously served as the assistant offensive coordinator at the University of Ft. Lauderdale in 2021 and as offensive coordinator at Atkin High School in 2019…Began his coaching career at his alma mater Winston-Salem State University in 2018, serving as the wide receivers coach…Played wide receiver for two seasons at Winston-Salem State University after transferring from Youngstown State…Finished his career with 76 receptions for 1,001 yards and four touchdowns over 20 games for the Rams…Was invited to the Detroit Lions rookie minicamp for a tryout in 2016 and spent the 2018 preseason with the Montreal Alouettes.
Gagliardi: Gagliardi is entering her third season at the defensive pass game coordinator for The Lawrenceville (NJ) School…She previously served as running backs and defensive backs coach at West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District in 2021 after one season as head coach for junior varsity…She is a member of the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches and was part of the UANextFootball Camp in New Jersey.
Pannell: Pannell is currently in his first season at the defensive line coach at Austin Peay State University after one year as a defensive line analyst at UCLA in 2023…He spent two seasons with the Detroit Lions (2021-22) as the William Clay Ford Minority Coaching Intern and served as a Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellow in 2019 for the Houston Texans...Prior to his time in the NFL, Pannell spent five years (2016-20), including three as defensive coordinator (2018-20) at Peru (NE) State University…He signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent and spent the 2012 offseason with the team following a five-year career as an offensive lineman at Penn State (2008-12).
Shinaver: Shinaver enters his third season with Vanderbilt University and first as assistant safeties coach…He served as a graduate assistant with the defense in 2023 after spending his first season as a scouting assistant and defensive intern in 2022…He played collegiately at Notre Dame from 2016-19, making the team as a walk-on receiver and appearing in seven career games…Following his playing career, he worked as a strategy and analytics analyst at Deloitte Consulting for two years.
Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship
Designed as a vocational tool to increase the number of full-time NFL minority coaches, all 32 NFL clubs participate each year. The program's objective is to use NFL clubs' offseason workout programs and minicamps to give talented coaches opportunities to observe, participate, gain experience, and ultimately gain a full-time NFL coaching position.
