Raiders claim Antwuan Davis

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have claimed CB Antwuan Davis via waivers from the Detroit Lions, the club announced Tuesday.

Davis, an undrafted free agent following the conclusion of this year's NFL Draft, originally signed with the Detroit Lions, where he spent time with the club throughout the team's offseason program and training camp. Appearing in two preseason contests for the Lions, the 5-foot-11, 196-pound cornerback has recorded two tackles (one solo) in exhibition play.

A native of Mineral Wells, Texas, Davis played four seasons at Texas, appearing in a total of 23 contests. Over his four-year career, he totaled 50 tackles (40), one sack, two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, one pass defensed, one fumble recovery and three forced fumbles.

In a corresponding move, the Raiders have Waived/Injured S Tevin Mitchel.
