The Biletnikoff Foundation, led by NFL Hall of Famer Fred Biletnikoff and wife Angela are pleased to announce the grand opening of Tracey's Place of Hope in the town of Loomis, Calif. This freshly restored home will reopen its doors, welcoming young girls who have endured drug addictions, domestic abuse, human trafficking, and gang violence. To honor the four years of dedicated support and fundraising, the Biletnikoff Foundation will host a special Grand Opening "Journey of Hope" celebration, featuring a ribbon cutting and special tours within the home.
Tracey's Place of Hope has been restored from ground up, specifically designed to accommodate the educational needs of the program. The rebuild also features improved nurturing support and functionality, with added sleeping quarters, and serene communal space.
Hall of Famer and Raiders Legend, Fred Biletnikoff along with the Biletnikoff Foundation will gather at the rebuild location, joined with partners, program facilitators, city and county officials, and members of the Oakland Raiders organization. Over $500,000 has been fundraised for this special project with the help of the Biletnikoff Foundation donors, partners and friends.
Tracey's Place of Hope provides substance abuse and domestic violence treatment through its residential program, preparing teenage girls ages 14-18 to manage their recovery, support their mental and emotional health issues, and teaching them the necessary skills to live independently.
"Last July, we gathered for the ground breaking ceremony with a mission to soon complete the rebuild of Tracey's Place of Hope," said Kathy Loder of Loder Construction, one of the businesses responsible for the rebuilding work from start to finish. "With hard work and diligence from so many people we now have a new home for the girls, and we can't be more excited about this accomplishment."
"Together we made it happen!" exclaims Angela Biletnikoff. "Fred and I have such joy that is beyond expression, and we have so many to thank for sticking with us through these years and through this wonderful journey. The hard work and efforts have truly paid off!"
