The California Office of Traffic Safety and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) hosted their annual Law Enforcement Recognition & DUI Training Seminar Thursday at the San Jose Marriott.
In addition to the law enforcement officials that attended the event, Raiders G Kevin Boothe was also in attendance and helped present the major awards which included the "Outstanding Prosecutor Award," and "Bay Area Top DUI Arresting Officer."
The event, hosted by MADD, began with welcoming remarks and invocation from Reverend Evelyn Vigil, and was then followed by the DUI training seminar after lunch.

After lunch the numerous guest speakers at the event, including Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith, addressed the assembled crowd, and the afternoon concluded with the presentation of the MADD Awards.
Founded in 1980, MADD, "offers direct, supportive services to victims/survivors of drunk or drugged driving crashes."
The Raiders have had a partnership with the organization since 2010, and just celebrated their fifth anniversary working with MADD.
