](http://www.luckysupermarkets.com/)The Oakland Raiders will be celebrating Filipino Heritage Month when they battle the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. This will be the Second Annual Filipino Heritage game, and it will be presented by Lucky's. There will be various groups performing before the game and during halftime showcasing a variety of traditional and contemporary Filipino dances. Performances will feature local up and coming Filipino Bay Area musicians and DJ's. Stop by Raiderville from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Trackademicks
Trackademicks is an American hip-hop artist/producer, born and raised in Alameda, Calif., and is also part of the San Francisco-Bay Area music collective, the Honor Roll crew, with members DJ Tap.10, 1 OAK., Moxmore, Mike Baker the Bike Maker, Spank Pops, and Josie Stingray. Trackademicks has also worked for Mistab Fab, who produced six songs for the rapper's sophomore release in May 2005. In 2006, he produced an unofficial remix of "tell me When to Go" by Bay Area rapper E-40, garnering widespread popularity.
DJ B-Strut, DJ Steez-O and DJ CMC
DJ B-Strut, DJ Steez-O and DJ CMC will be performing at Raiderville. They are known as the "The Bay Area's party rockin' and sound diverse DJ crew." They will be playing music of predominantly Filipino artists and other top 40 and R&B. This crew is formed of close friends and business partners. They are made up of producers, club DJ's, and artist DJ's. These three DJ's have been performing for more than 20 years.
DJ Samala and Jeremy John
DJ Samala and Jeremy John will be performing at Raiderville. DJ Samala has a few impressive organizations she is involved with, including Hearth Homes Community Building, is co-founder and Creative Director of Start Mobile, head coach of Girls Lacrosse at Tamalpais High, Ringleader of the Heartist Crew, Editor of DopeMag.com. She has also performed around the Bay Area and in New York. She has played at Madrone, Tunnel Top, the BOC, 111 Minna, Double Dutch, Project One, or Bambuddha Lounge and in New York she also performed at Plan B and the Skin NY.
Soulciety
Soulciety is a non-profit organization based in the Bay Area, which focuses on uplifting the spirits of society as a whole. Its goal is to enrich and empower the lives of youth to promote physical, mental, and spiritual growth. The group is comprised of 10 – 12 individuals who will be performing at Raiderville.
Lil' Jordan
Lil' Jordan (12) will be performing at Raiderville. Jordan was recognized by
XXL Magazine* (July 2007) and Asian Week (Cover, February 2007), while snagging a Sammy Award for Best Male Artist under 18. Lil' Jordan's hip hop journey began through his father, Johnny Eugenio, who wanted to write a song for his brother Joshua who has Downs syndrome. Swing for the Dream was produced to educate other children about kids with disabilities.
Step, Style & Spotlights
SSS will be performing the traditional Mabuhay Folkloric dance
Pagdiwata; they will entertain the crowd at *Raiderville with their choreography and styles. Presenting their art form center stage of Raiderville, Step, Style & Spotlights will make Mabuhay Fiesta a real Filipino Folk experience.
Desi
Desi, a Bay Area recording artist, will be performing for the Filipino Heritage game at Raiderville. His first two songs, "About You" and "Down on You" were both featured on the movie soundtrack "A Chosen Life." Desi's unique blend of musical styles from house, hip hop, rock and neo soul has led him to work with producers Chris Bryant, Sam 7 and AJ Jimenez on many songs. Desi also has collaborated with Bay Area rapper Authentic on the mega club hit "Dirty Love" and a new track titled "Cold Hearted." Desi's other recordings such as "Just Remember (Movido Remix)," "2Nite" and others have all received a great deal of club and air play. Known for his high energy and tightly choreographed shows, he's worked with some of the most amazing dancers and famed choreographers. Desi has been a big part of the Asian and Filipino communities here in Northern California performing at many festivals and club events.
Bwan, Mr. Rey and DJ Delrokz
Bwan is a self-described snot-nosed youngster that at the tender age of 12 acquired an inclination toward progressive hip-hop music. Mighty DJ Delrokz has been performing since 2003, producing numerous events. Bwan, Mr. Rey and DJ Delrokz will spin the vinyl at Raiderville this Sunday.
Jern-Eye
Jern-Eye, who will pay a visit to Raiderville this Sunday, began crafting his skills early on at freestyle battles in famous L.A. clubs. Jern-Eye who also formed the west coast group Lunar Heights with friend and fellow emcee Spear of the Nation shortly after high school, the group eventually migrated north to Oakland to join the Bay Area's flourishing independent hip-hop scene.
