Jack Del Rio Foundation Hosts First Bocce Ball Tournament

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Jack Del Rio Foundation is proud to host its first ever bocce ball tournament Tuesday at Campo di Bocce in Fremont. The event will benefit Hayward High School/Mt. Eden High School/Tennyson High School athletics, NorCal Special Olympics and the Alameda County Deputy Sheriff's Athletic League.

"Linda and I have made a long standing commitment to give back to the community, primarily to underserved youth who face continuous challenges and uncompromising adversity," said Jack Del Rio. "We desire to make a difference in the lives of others and encourage all of us to look outward for opportunities to serve, whether it be through financial support, time, or by volunteering our skills and talents."

The Jack Del Rio Bocce Ball Tournament will include 32 teams and will begin at 12 p.m. The event will include a live auction and a trophy presentation following competition. The championship round is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

The title sponsor of the Jack Del Rio Bocce Ball Tournament is Clear Channel Outdoor and elite-level sponsors include BCCI Builders and the Carson Valley Inn.

Proceeds from this sold-out event will go to support the Jack Del Rio Foundation's mission, which is to motivate our community to meet the needs of underserved youth. The Jack Del Rio Foundation seeks to energize, educate and enrich the lives of our youth through the generous investment of financial support, time and devotion.
