Rusher celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and his 4th year as a Raider with local youth from Davis Street Family Resource Center and the After-School Education Safety (ASES) program with a birthday fiesta. The festivities kick offed with bi-lingual football bingo to win Raiders prizes.
Afterwards, the Bay Area Bomba y Plena Workshop taught students about the importance, heritage and culture of Bomba music. Children were joined by Raiders players, Raiderettes and Rusher to play instruments, learn simple dance moves and songs and concluded with a jam session.
