Recently, the Oakland Raiders held a Welcome Brunch for players' and coaches' wives and significant others, staff's significant others and Raiders executives. Inspired by Head Coach Dennis Allen's wife, Alisson, and General Manager Reggie McKenzie's wife, June, the brunch brought together close to 100 members of the Raider family.
Alisson felt strongly about kicking off the association with an event. "The goal of the Welcome Brunch was to meet one another," said Alisson. "We spoke about what it means to be a part of the association and talked about our upcoming community opportunities. I felt it went great and you could sense the excitement in the room and the inspiration to begin helping our community."
Throughout the season, the association will partake in various events in Oakland and surrounding communities. The brunch was a success and kicked off a new era of excellence under Coach Allen and McKenzie.
