By now you've probably seen the milestones and records.
Most receptions by a rookie in NFL history. Most receiving yards by a rookie tight end in NFL history. Most receptions in a single season by a player in Raiders history. There's plenty more to add.
But numbers don't always tell the whole story. Brock Bowers, who never looks for the spotlight, certainly won't say much either. His peers have though.
From media members and current NFL players to Super Bowl-winning head coaches, here's a look at some of the top quotes on Bowers during his historic rookie season.
NFL Coaches
"I thought he was one of the best tight ends coming out in a long time – not just this draft, but in a long time. He's living up to expectations. He can play wideout, he can play tight end, he can do some fullback, he can run jet sweeps. They do a lot of things with him and he's a very talented guy." - Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles
"He's doing the same things, really, in the NFL that we saw on Georgia tape. I think he leads all tight ends in receptions and yards. His run after [the catch] is exceptional. His combat catch skills and his ability to come down with the ball in traffic is exceptional." - Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin
"He's a unicorn. There are a few tight ends like him in the league that are as fast as he is, that are as athletic as he is, that have the catch ability that he has, the run after the catch ability that he's shown in college, ability to make tough catches and also willingness as a blocker. He's a high-end draft pick for a reason. Talented player." - Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter
"He's one of those joker tight ends that can move in space. You can see and feel his football I.Q. when you watch him play. He has exceptional hands. He's savvy. There aren't many players from Napa, California. I remember in the Combine interview just being surprised. He's definitely someone that can give you headaches." - Broncos Head Coach Sean Payton
"He is an absolute force. He is a tight end – shoot, you could probably put him at tailback, you can play him anywhere you want. ... What an incredible player. I look forward to just seeing the trajectory of his career and where he goes." - Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver
"Really tough. Turns into a running back when he's got the ball in his hands. Not only does he have tremendous quickness and ability to separate, but once he secures the ball, he's really difficult to bring down. Similar to Ja'Marr [Chase] in that sense that once he's got the ball, he's usually not going down on first contact and thinks he's going to score on every single play. That's really what you see from him. I think he's really progressed in the run game as well. He's physical, he's willing, so it's not shocking to see the production that he's having right now." - Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor
"He is extremely talented. Ball skills, ball awareness, track the ball. And then once he gets his hands on the football, he's such a big target, very rangy. And now he can stick his foot in the ground and he gets vertical right now. He's a matchup nightmare. He's obviously bigger and stronger than most defensive backs, and he's going to be faster, more agile than most linebackers. He is a special talent." - Falcons defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake
"He's a problem. He does a great job contributing to the blocking surface. He can play all over the core. They give him jet sweeps. He's creating after the catch. All the things that made him such a great prospect, you're seeing be brought to life early on in his NFL career. There isn't anything that he can't do. I'm seeing a guy that has a complete game." - Rams Head Coach Sean McVay
NFL Players
Whether it's on the field with double-teams or off the field in press conferences, Bowers has earned the respect of players around the NFL. In fact, earlier this week he was named to the NFL Players Association's (NFLPA) "The Players' All-Pro Team," voted on by players across the league.
"He's one of a kind. He's doing a good job in the run-game blocking. Then he's doing a good job of playing receiver when he wants to play receiver. He's just done a really good job of coming in and putting his mark on the league. They've done a really good job of getting him the ball and opportunities to make big plays. You always got to know where he's at." - Falcons Pro Bowl safety Jessie Bates III
"He's been really impressive for a long time, obviously. I see him and just think he's such a smooth football player. Nothing he does is super flashy but he's just always open, always making plays after the catch and doing things as efficiently as possible. That's something I really admire about his game." - Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton
"He's kind of a complete tight end, can run the full route tree. He's explosive, got great yards after the catch, great route running ability, fast in and out of breaks, can block as well. So, he's kind of a complete package for them." - Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill
"They made it key for him to get the ball. Obviously, 13 catches [at Miami] is a high rate, especially for a rookie. You can see how they made it a point of emphasis to give him the ball in any spot and any position. They even have him at 'X' [receiver] backside and at his tight end spot at the 'Z.' He is playing all positions, and they are utilizing him very well." - Broncos All-Pro cornerback Pat Surtain II
Media
Media members who cover the NFL have also taken notice of Bowers' historic rookie season. He is just the fourth rookie tight end in the NFL since 1960 - the first since 2002 (Jeremy Shockey) - to earn first-team AP All-Pro honors.
"That's a pretty cool thing if he's first-team All-Pro and I think that is what he'll get. In a world of Travis Kelce and George Kittle, a 22-year-old rookie Brock Bowers is far and away the best tight end in football." - Peter Schrager (NFL Network)
"He's clearly carrying the torch for the all the young tight ends out there. He's just so savvy. He's so smooth. He's so precise with all his routes. He punishes guys after he catches the ball as well and that's what I love about him. Also, he's a pretty solid blocker as well. He's a complete package." - Rob Gronkowski (Up & Adams with Kay Adams)
"What Brock Bowers has done this season on this offense, regardless of who is throwing him the football, that's what makes it even more remarkable. ... He has control of his own two feet, making himself available, running the route, executing this offense. He should be the Rookie of the Year because it's that much harder to do so as a non-quarterback position." - Jamie Erdahl (NFL Network)
"He's breaking record after record from a rookie receiver. It still blows my mind – we were talking about it in the draft when people were actually questioning what they thought he could do in the NFL after dominating college, thinking his game wouldn't transfer to the NFL. It transfers unbelievably well." - Mike Golic (GoJo and Golic)
"Bowers might have had the best rookie season by a tight end in league history. ... He has simply been uncoverable. He broke Mike Ditka's 63-year-old record for receiving yards by a rookie tight end (1,194). How many records stretching back before the Super Bowl era are even left on the books? ... He already has an excellent sense for reading coverages and finding open space on scramble drills, and he has been a serious problem for defenses after the catch." - Bill Barnwell (ESPN)
"For a guy like that to show up and be a stalwart for that team, it's unbelievable. His production, you can't argue with it." - Kyle Long (CBS Sports)
