2024 Raiders Position Review: Wide Receivers

Players on injured reserve

Jakobi Meyers emerged as the top dog of the receiving corps in 2024, enjoying one of the best seasons of his career.

After Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets, Meyers topped 100 receiving yards in a game three times. In his sixth NFL season, he hit personal bests in receptions (87), receiving yards (1,027) and receiving yards per game (68.5).

The team's third leading pass catcher, behind Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers, was second-year player Tre Tucker. His improvement from Year 1 to Year 2 was noticeable, splitting snaps at outside and slot receiver. He finished the season with 47 catches for 539 yards and three touchdown grabs. His 11.5 yards per reception were the second-highest of any player on the team (min. 20 receptions).

DJ Turner flipped the switch in Year 3, playing a more significant role in the offense after being viewed as a core special teamer. He recorded nearly 200 total scrimmage yards and scored his first two career touchdowns in 2024. However, a knee injury forced him to miss the last five games of the season.

In Turner's absence, former second-round pick Terrace Marshall Jr. was signed to the active roster in Week 11 after initially joining the team via the practice squad weeks prior. He played in seven games for the Raiders.

Rookie UDFA Ramel Keyton and former Canadian Football League (CFL) running back Tyreik McAllister both made the initial 53-man roster after impressive preseason showings. However, they split time between the active roster and the practice squad, appearing in an combined 11 games.

Kristian Wilkerson played in three games during his second season with the Silver and Black, catching his first career touchdown in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Shedrick Jackson, the great nephew of Raiders legend Bo Jackson, signed to the team's practice squad on December 4, 2024. He ultimately signed a reserve/future contract on January 6.

Jeff Foreman, rookie UDFA from Arkansas State, was placed on injured reserve after sustaining an injury during training camp.
