Based on odds from the BetMGM online sportsbook, my Buccaneers vs. Raiders prediction is the Raiders Team Total Over 19.5 Points (-125).
This game sets up well for the Raiders against a Bucs team coming off a divisional overtime win with a negative rest advantage over Las Vegas.
Although the Raiders haven't cleared this number since Week 8, their offensive performance in Kansas City encouraged me.
The Raiders amassed 434 total yards against Kansas City, their best output of the entire season.
That result came against a Chiefs defense 15th in defensive DVOA. Now, Las Vegas gets a Buccaneers defense 20th in that category.
The slight concern is that Tampa Bay has faced the hardest schedule of opposing offenses, so they may not actually perform as bad as their metrics suggest.
But the chief concern with Tampa Bay is that they rank 31st in pass defense DVOA against tight ends.
If Las Vegas can constantly feed the ball to Brock Bowers, there's a path to them effectively moving the ball.
Plus, even if you only look at Tampa Bay's results as favorites, bettors will find they've allowed opponents to clear this number three times in four games.
