What They're Saying: Browns taking notice of talented rookie Brock Bowers

The Raiders are home at Allegiant Stadium for a second straight week with a chance to get back in the win column against the Cleveland Browns.

Take a look at what the Browns' players and coaches had to say ahead of Week 4.

On QB Gardner Minshew II:

"He's a good quarterback. He's going to get his playmakers the ball, going to spread the field. They'll spread the ball around. We've just got to be there to execute." - Browns cornerback Denzel Ward

"He's a gunslinger. When he gets hot, he can be really darn good and like you saw last week, he can make it into a shootout, quick." - Browns defensive end Myles Garrett

"[H]e does have good mobility. Generally, ball's coming out either really fast or he's holding it a long time. We have to take advantage of the opportunities when he gives us chances. ... Holding down the explosives, keeping him from moving the sticks with his feet on third down and buying time on first and second down to make big plays down the field. All that goes into consideration. He's one of those guys, he can get hot and we have to keep him from getting hot." - Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz

"He gets the ball out fast. ...That's always good, especially when you have the options like he does. He has a lot of guys around him. Good tight ends, good wide receivers, fast wide receivers and solid backs. It's going to be tough and I'm willing to stand up for the team and say that we're looking forward to the challenge." - Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

"He's a playmaker, has played a lot in this league, has seen a lot in this league, has great skill players around him. I think very highly of him." - Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski

On TE Brock Bowers:

"He's excellent. He was drafted up there in the first round for a reason. They have really two good tight ends. I think [Michael] Mayer is very good as well. But Bowers in particular – very athletic, can block, fast, can make you miss when he gets the ball in his hand. So, a complete tight end. He's a very good football player." - Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski

"I mean, there's a reason they drafted him in the first round. He's fast, he's a good route runner, he's a willing blocker. Again, all over the place. Use him as wide receiver, use him in the backfield, use him as a tight end. Competitive blocker. Certainly not afraid to go in there." - Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz

"Physical tight end. Good player, good run after catch. They've got a lot of threats over there, whether it's receivers, tight ends. We're all going to have pretty good matchups across the board." - Browns cornerback Denzel Ward

"He's a fast tight end, he's physical, blocks well, he runs routes well, just about everything. He's an all-around tight end and we're looking forward to the challenge. I know our safeties are, linebackers are, defensive ends are, in case they want to chip. We're looking forward to it." - Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah

On the Raiders' wide receivers:

"Good wide receiver corps. Jakobi Meyers, I've got a lot of respect for that player. That guy blocks, he does the dirty work, he can make plays for them. He's a good receiver and number 11 [Tre Tucker] has got some big-time speed and he's made some big plays for them." - Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz

On K Daniel Carlson and P AJ Cole:

"Both very talented, Carlson and Cole. Carlson has range, he's very accurate. He's been doing it at a high level for a number of years now out in Vegas. And Cole is a game changer. He can truly flip the field, he's very good directionally, he's got a strong leg, controls the ball well. Really, really both good players that they have." - Browns assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone

On WR Tre Tucker's ability as a punt returner:

"Speed. Fast. This guy can get to the edge and he can run. Last year, I want to say the analytics showed on the tracking data this guy was the second fastest person in the league with the ball in his hands. I think it came out to a conversion, like, he ran like a 4.24 with the ball in his hand. So, that's rolling. And he's a guy that we're definitely going to have to be ready for and to have good leverage against." - Browns assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone

On the Raiders' secondary:

"They've got some good players back there. They definitely take risks. They're a solid group overall. You've got a couple guys back there, they make plays. They play the position the right way. Just looking to go out there and just dominate." - Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper

On DE Maxx Crosby:

"I like his game. I like how he plays. He's 100% every time he steps on the field. Hell, I don't think he comes off the field. So, stuff like that, I admire from him." - Browns defensive end Myles Garrett

"His motor is unbelievable. ... He's long, he's athletic, he plays through the whistle. He's a great, great player." - Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski
